This is an opportunity for someone with experience checking products, components or materials to build their skills and take on wider quality responsibilities.
You’ll work alongside production and engineering teams, checking products meet the required standards, helping investigate quality issues and supporting improvements. Training in auditing is available, so previous auditing experience is not essential.
What you’ll be doing:

Inspecting products and components at different stages of manufacture.

Checking incoming materials and recording inspection results.

Using drawings, specifications and test procedures to check quality.

Maintaining accurate inspection and quality records.

Helping investigate problems and prevent them from happening again.

Supporting the calibration of inspection and test equipment.

Getting involved in quality audits, with training and support.

Working with colleagues to improve products and processes.
What we’re looking for:

Previous inspection experience within manufacturing or engineering.

An ability to work from technical drawings or specifications.

Good attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems.

Confidence using computers and keeping accurate records.

Good communication skills and the ability to work with different teams.

A willingness to learn and develop a career in quality.
You could currently be working as an inspector, test technician or in a production role with responsibility for quality checks. The key is having practical inspection experience and an interest in developing further.
