QC Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a QC Supervisor for a dynamic, highly succesful company. Our client is a major global provider of integrated energy systems and solutions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated QC Chargehand to lead inspection activities and support our quality assurance objectives.
The Opportunity:
As QC Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all received goods and manufactured products meet our stringent quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will oversee inspection activities, manage the inspection team, and collaborate across departments to maximise productivity and meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspection activities to verify the quality of received goods and in-house products.

Implement and maintain good working practices within the Inspection department.

Allocate tasks to the inspection team to support various operations.

Coordinate inspector coverage to ensure seamless departmental operations.

Facilitate third-party inspector visits for inspection and final release as required by QITP/Route card.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all inspection records.

Verify, monitor, and log equipment traceability and calibration.

Oversee final inspection of parts leaving the facility.

Prioritise workloads to meet customer deadlines.

Liaise with fabrication, machine shop, and assembly departments to ensure production requirements are met.
Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in a similar engineering environment and QC leadership role.

Certification in Inspection and NDT processes (PCN, CSWIP, ICorr). Must hold at least two certifications in MPI, LPI, UT, Coating Inspection, or Weld Inspection.

Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
