We’re working with a growing manufacturing business that delivers complex electromechanical products to a broad customer base. They’re looking to add a Project Engineer to the team – someone who can take ownership of projects from initial handover through to full production support.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role. You’ll be the link between design, production, and quality – helping turn engineering intent into repeatable, cost-effective processes on the shop floor.
Whether you’ve delivered production support, commissioning, or led product roll-outs – if you’ve worked across departments to get things made, improved, or out the door – this could be for you.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Supporting the transition from design into production – ensuring builds run smoothly and efficiently
-
Helping to develop BOMs, routings, timings, and documentation using ERP systems
-
Working with teams to spot opportunities for process improvement – whether that’s reducing waste, improving cycle times, or simplifying builds
-
Getting involved in technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders when needed
-
Contributing to improvements in how products are made, tested, and scaled up
-
Ensuring standards for quality, documentation, and compliance are met along the way
What you’ll bring:
-
Background in engineering or manufacturing, ideally with an electrical or electromechanical bias
-
Experience in project delivery, commissioning, or production support within a technical or manufacturing setting
-
Comfortable interpreting technical drawings and documents
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across functions and teams
This is a fantastic opportunity for a growing organisation with ambitious growth plans.
