I am working exclusively with a growing and respected name in the drinks industry to recruit an Account & Business Development Manager. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about whisky, understands the industry, and is keen to play a key commercial role in bottling and bonded warehousing services across the UK.
Ideally the role will be four days per week however our client is flexible in terms hours, location and working days. What matters most is your ability to bring industry knowledge and commercial awareness.
The Role:

Develop strong relationships across the whisky and premium drinks industry, identifying new opportunities and helping drive commercial growth

Represent the business at tastings, trade events, and networking forums

Work closely with customers to develop strategic plans aligned with their goals

Manage pricing structures and ensure competitiveness and profitability

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes

Oversee HMRC compliance in relation to bonded warehouse services

Report regularly on business development activity and pipeline growth
About You:

You have a strong appreciation of the whisky sector – whether from personal interest or professional experience

You have a background in the drinks industry, ideally with exposure to bonded warehousing or bottling operations

You're commercially minded with a natural ability to build and maintain client relationships

You’re confident acting as the face of a business at events and in industry circles

You’re self-driven and able to work flexibly with minimal supervision

You understand the importance of compliance, particularly in relation to HMRC bonded operations
